This OLED lighting project was part of a design competition for LG, where i had to create a lighting piece using LG's OLED strips. 

The concept had to incorporate the following:

LIFE - Incorporate the idea of ‘life’ into your designs based on your own interpretation.​

HUMAN - Emphasize the natural illumination of OLEDs and propose a design in accordance with LG’s design philosophy, ‘Human Centric Care and Empathy’.​

FLEXIBILITY & CREATIVITY - Emphasize the flexibility and creativity of OLEDs and integrate your design into our modern day lifestyle.

I decided to design a light in the shape of an egg as the egg is a symbol for the potential of life and I feel that it symbolises life as a whole. I have emphasised OLEDs natural illumination and flexibility by creating a design that allows the light to go all around the product, in every angle it is viewed.
